The Civil Division of the Courthouse is responsible for the:

1] review, processing, computer data entry, and calendaring of legal documents pertaining to civil law;

2] customer service over the counter and on the telephone regarding the filing of legal documents;

3] pulling files from the shelf, reviewing, and preparing them for the Law and Motion Calendar, Master Calendar, Small Claims Calendar, and Unlawful Detainer Calendar;

4] monitoring cases for the Trial Court Delay Reduction Calendar and issuing notices to the parties to comply with the Court's Delay Reduction Rules.

Small Claims Advisor - The law requires each county to provide assistance in small claims cases free of charge. The Small Claims Advisor for our court is located in Room 107-J. You may see the Small Claims Advisor on a first come first served basis from 8-11 a.m. every day. He/she is also available by telephone every afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. at (707) 524-7349
