The Bailiff has responsibility for the safety of all persons in the courtroom, including court personnel and the audience. The bailiff oversees any inmates who are in the courtroom, and escorts them to and from their hearings. The bailiff may also be called upon to assure that members of the audience follow all court rules while in the courtroom.
